I have had nothing in the way of news from home since your letter of the 8th.. of Jany and I assure you the time seems long to me I have not heard from Jim or Colonel Mayer since I wrote you last, hope we will get a mail before we leave this place and If I have time will write you again be fore we start, You must excuse this scribbling for I am writing on my Knee out in the wind. the weather now is quite pleasant but for the last two weeks it has rained all the time which made the roads awful bad. be sure to write often & give me all the news. Remember me to all & Believe me Ever Your Affectionate Husband Frank Malcolm
