I Received a letter last week from Jim, dated Camp near New Orleans Feby 11" 65, his head quartes expected to embark for Mobeal on the following day the troops of his Division having already gon,
Jim had Received my letter and had written immediately to Col" Mayer, - sayes the Regt is to be the (11" Tenn) (white) and that he thinks I will git the position, that the only trouble in the way will be in the Change of Govoners of the State of Tenn, which I think does not take place until this fall. do not Know who is acting in place of Andy Johnson, I would like to hear from there before starting on Another Campaign but fear I will not and if Communication
