Malcom E.E.M. April 26th.. 2 P.M. Dear Lide we have not moved yet and it is now believed we will not start for a day or two the 17th.. Corps returned to Camp Last night and it is reported in Camp this morning that Genl Joe Johnson has surrendered unconditionally to Genl Grant. I will mail this letter to you as I have it written. will write you tomorrow if we remain in Camp hoping that I will have a a lot of good news for you when I write again I Remain Ever Your & Frank.
