Q. M. Office 7" Iowa V. V. I Camp Near Louisville K. Y. June 22nd.. 1865. My dear Wife I have nothing to write today in the way of news. all is quiet in Camp and the weather Very warm. I am getting very tired of Camp life and long for home and the dear friends there. had hoped that by this time we would Know what was going to be done with us. but the future is yet as night. we are yet Soldiers and as Such are Expected to “Know nothing” I mean.” in an official point of view, we get the daily papers and read them, but have not been able to finde one word in regard to the mustering out of the Army of the Tenn. I am more hopeful than many others believe that the Government,
