Cream Muffins. 1 pt sweet milk 1/2 tbsp. butter 1-1/2 pt flour 3 eggs. Waffles 1 quart flour 1 tsp. soda 4 eggs 1 teacup sour cream 1/2 cup. melted butter; add little salt. Beat all very light, & bake quickly. Beaten Biscuits 6 cups flour 2 tbsp. butter & lard mixed 2 tsp. salt; make a stiff dough with milk, beat it for an hour & 1/2 &, bake quickly in a hot oven. Make size you wish. Griddle Cakes 1 quart flour 1 pint milk 2 tsp. baking powder little salt. Bake as soon as possible on a hot fire. Butter in the kitchen.
