movements. Cos. B & D out scouting, Bring in some "Nig's" and sevral Rebs (Added at top of page:-) 4th Corps came past us in the night 6th,, Have reville at 3 AM. get ready to march at daylight, but do not get off until 2 P.M. then go only about 2 miles and camp for the night. The Rebs follow our rear guard to Jonesboro. and skirmish with them. They are only feeling us to see where we are going. Camp in line of battle.
