Very cold today At 9 it began to rain and it was a miserable night I cannot see what this marching, counter marching, forming lines of battle, and sneaking around in the fields, means. Report says there are no rebels within 30 miles, yet there was a good deal of cannonading yesterday and today, (Vertically, at left:-) Monday 13th Were allowed to lie as long as we pleased this morning. Cold wet, and disagreeable weather now
