9" Get the glorious orders to march tomorrow. Hurrah! Now for Raleigh and old Johnston. 10" At 7 AM moved out, our 2" Div leading corps, 1st in the rear, found the Johnnies about 4 miles from town and skirmished with them all day, The 20 corps took a road to the left and had hard fighting all day, We pushed the enemy back and made 14 miles camping at 3 P.M, Rain all day. Rebels have torn up the track on the Raleigh road completely We march on a road parallel with it, The 2" Div lost about 10 men
