14" we had expected to remain in R_ a day or two but the train pulled out early, and our Brig followed in rear not getting off till afternoon. We marched out the [Greensboro?] R R some 7 miles then turned off to the left and bore SouthWest, halted at 10 P.M all tired and in a bad humor We did not get up with the Corps but camped some 4 miles in the rear, The weather was very warm. We met a captured train running to R with a load of prisoners captured by "Kill", The R R was in good order. Wheelers scouts followed us and
