During our stay here we've been drawing our Sanitary grub. everything good but in small quantities See note X. end 11' My furlough came back approved and I lost no time in getting to town Got transportation and got off at 7 1/2 P.M. reached Baltimore at 12" am. (night.) took the train for Harrisburgh and reached it near morning. Steamed over 12 the double track to Pittsburgh blinded by smoke and cinders and reached that smoky, dusty [road struck through] place
