Louisville Ky (Regimental diary after my return in July 12" H A) July 12 The Companies busy on muster-out rolls, Officers of Div presented Gen Baird with a magnificent watch a few days ago, Work on rolls discharges &c until 19" Rolls signed 20 Struck tents and took boat for Cin'ti then train for Columbus which we reached on 21" at 8 PM, Walked out to Camp Chase where we waited until 26" when the pay master did his part and the boys strolled off for town by 2's & 3's and soon our barracks were empty and the old 31." O
