Our New Years Resolutions On the first Saturday before New Years, we girls gathered at the home of our leader. Each one of us brought some thing to work on and one dish for dinner. Our dinner was all set on the table as the clock struck twelve, and we all rushed to the Library Table, where our leader had fixed little books for us to write our name, the name of our club, and our resolutions. After this was over and we had eaten, we all began to work on something each one had brought. Then at 1:30, we began our business meeting. After the meeting we had recreation number, games, songs and many other entertainers for us to listen to. We girls all appreicated that special day and our little booklets which we always can keep to remember this very day and when we first made our very first resolutions for our club.
