Story of My Club Work This year our project was canning. I certainly enjoyed it as I thought real canning was fun. You remember when I was a little tot, I use to can in my playhouse, and I knew just how to can tomatoes. But to think this time in a big play house I really canned real products and I'll say it wasn't make-believe. I canned all my food by the 4-H Method, using the pressure cooker, tin can sealer and the tin cans. My total of canned products was 642 pints. Canning to me is one of the most interesting projects. I cannot say it is the best as the projects coming are propably the best too. I took an interesting trip to Ames as I was the county president. I enjoyed this trip very much as I feel we are benefited by these wonderful conventions that are held. One nice thing about these 4-H Girls Conventions and State Fairs is that we get accquainted with other clubgirls and leaders of other counties. We can learn what other counties and clubs are doing. My trip to Chicago was the most interesting and the most outstanding feature in my mind. This is something that I cannot express on paper, but
