XVII The movement to adjourn was then given by Mrs. Samson and seconded by Mrs. Detwiler. It was unanimously carried, and the club adjourned in peace and good will. Anna Mahara, Sec'y. Charles City Iowa, 1/16/92. At the fifth regular meeting of the Political Equality Club, held at Mrs. Lane's residence, January 16th, at the regular time, there were present the following officers: Pres. Mrs. Littell; Treas. Mrs. Detwiler; Sec'y Anna Mahara. The following members were present: Mesdames Miner, Littell, Lane, Boulton, Fisher, Barney, Detwiler, and Miss Mahara.
