26 Constitutional Prohibition amendment Day, to be observed by all Unions in the United States Motion Carried. 21 present Jan. 15. 1914 The Jan. meeting of the W.C.T.U. met in the Cong. church parlors. Jan. 15. Opened by singing, "Jesus calls O'er the [illegible]. Our Pres. being absent Mrs. Stocks presided. Our scripture lesson was from the 34 Psalm. Miss Marsh read a very encouraging article on the closing of the saloon. There are only 1/5 as many saloons now as 10 years ago, and it is only a matter of time when they will all be closed. [Five
