for sometime and then asked Goulles what he was agoing to do, he said that his money had not come on yet & that he would hace to take the place back, Andy told him if he wanted it he would giv him untill next fall, so Ms. Goulles rented the field by the house & will live in the house this summer & Ms. G. paid him back the money he had paid on it which was 300 dol. it remains to be seen what he will do. he has no team nor any thing- only what he has got. of Andy, the general opinion is that he will [sloop] the first thing we know, he is a very pleasant man, & his wife seems like a lady in every sense of the word, Jake Bixler was here yesterday & subpoenied Father on the william and [Mazlhon] Mills suit. Bill has sold his interest in the mill to Crawford, & has sold his house & lot, owns nothing but a pony & an interest in the ox team, if the suit goes against him they will be missing, old Bixler started to Ohio friday. his son-in-law is going to moove out this spring, court comes on next week. Mrs. Waldener has been down to see doc this winter, the report is that she staid to long with him or else not long enough. Mrs. Widener is getting from the county all the time, I have been thinking if Unckle Sam or one of unckle sam's boyes did not forke over pretty soon I would have to apply to the county. I have borrowed 10 dol this winter, goods are comeing down, calicoes are down to 25 per yd. and as I have to get Eddie and Clara some clothes I think I had better do it now, for the opinion is that cotton goods will not fall any more. I will wait a week or two & if I hear nothing from you about the money (as I have wrote some time ago) I will not have to break
