where not quite so [slint?] as usual but see it all a mistake. he was quite [natural?] Commensed talkin quite fast. about things in general. how Bally run off & left him and thought would come up and see after her. cant stay but a few minutes ask him to Cake supper said no we have been [illegible] so did mother. no I have been [to?] supper. they are smarter up there then we are. said they ate dinner & [inelligeble] about two oclock. he said I gess I betts go and arose to go. when I whent upstairs when I came down he was seated but arose to go again before I sat down.. he said good day good evening. N28th Right here I will tell how I was suprised on last thanksgivin day. the 18th of this month, in the morning we where very busy. around my heart was very sad [illegible] to some circumstances that transpired last Sabbath still I kept it "all hidden in my own heart. Well about dinner time. P. came over. [Jisi?] was out somewhat he came on the poarch to get some wood when I said how are you gave him my hand. he went in was talking came out & opened the door showed a letter & said this is yours.
