It is now too late I fear, to do anything farther, I have waited to hear more particulars of your movement before corresponding with the friends who were ready, with me, to call such convention in the early fall. We had planned it all some time ago and were only waiting. Have you the name of Major O'Connor? He is a warm friend. So too is Frank Palmer, I think. With many good wishes for
