[Malybeate?] Pills given to me by Mrs Dimsdale Take of pill [Ruffie?] in the mass one ounce and a half gum ammoniaeam half an ounce gum guaiacum half an ounce salt of steel five drams - beat all well together till well incorporated with a little of any kind of syrup till they are formed into a mass for pills of which make 12 out of a dose Given to me by Mrs Dimsdale An Electury for the Piles by Perceval Potts [Turgeon?] [Tinitive?] Electuary 1 ounce tall [hitri?] pu[illegible] [ziss?] [tulpl? precep? - 3iii?] [cinol antrimm - 3ss lqr: tinep: qi: s: m: piat?] Elector - The [illegible?] size of a small nutmeg hight & [illegible] For a decay or weakness of night, which may come on earlier than might reasonably be expected and without any desease or other apperent cause - if it does not answer the purpose - no will will attend the use of it. Put two ounces of rosemary leaves into a bottle with a pint of brandy, shake it once or twice a day let this stand three days, then strain it off; mix a teaspoonful of the clear tincture with four teaspoons of warm water, and wash the inside of the eye-lids with it every night, moving about the eye-lids that some of it may get perfectly in between the lid and the eye. By degrees put put less & less water to the tincture, till at length a teaspoonful of each maybe mixed for use. Given to me by Richard [Discars?] Esqr Middleham as above
