Boond Ed, Jown, May 12, 1878 My Ellie M. Mourer, My darking little girl, how I do thank you for that good "sweet" letter you send me. I could notkeep from reading it over and over again and again. I was permitted to read it on monday evening for two weeks tomorrow evening. Mr. Kendall brought down any mail, I wonder if mu darling littleElie whom I love so dearlu was looking for me over in the early today, if she is I am sorry she will be disappointed. I had made up my mind that I should go. I got to looking over the road in my thoughts could see puzzled of those mudd holes. I imagined looked firstly bad. I am somewhat sorry now I did not venture out and see if they were as Sixun Gu sixun-gu@uiowa.edu
