At home in Peoples Tp. Easter Sunday 1877

     Miss. Ellie.
                 My little darling.
                                            I wish I was over there I 
                                            believe I could talk to you much better than write,
                                            especially this evening, or I should have said help you,
                                            or You me. It was rather to much wind blowing today
                                            for me to venture very far from home. especially on gone back. I did not get home from my bounding place
                                            until this morning. I quit work rather late last evening. again I have my supper. It was to dark for me to go home,
                                            I bring so small I might have got lost & no one to find me! You would not have taken time to look for me, would 
                                            You? This morning I come home a sailing. The wind would almost pick me up & carry me along. How many 
                                            easter eggs did you eat? I only ate 3 eggs. I had the chance to eat more, but didn't. Is Bradys meeting still in 
                                            progress?
