we had better hurry home, we started and lo & behold (illegible) 's hat blew off. so I got off the pony to get it (illegible) where all a riding, just got in the house then came this hail thick and fast & I was glad I was safe at home. the girls stayed (illegible) after the rain had passed. hope it was not caused the hail by no girls starting on a visiting trip. we are going (illegible) it over more. this Wednesday at (illegible) hope the weather will be all calm and serene.
