[Amis?] Iowa June 16 1903 Dear Ellen M. I [reced?] your letter this morning. Will now try to write a few lines to You all. glad to hear you and Edith got there all safe, and that you are well except Grace, hope she is well by this time. I am as well as common my cold is no worse. Well is now [illegible] 1 O,clock P.M. and just eat my dinner, was gathering or picking Strawbirres before dinner. got about two quarts big [brrries?], had two [messes?] before, what I cant eat I'll put in the Ice box. I think they will keep all night
