should take the place - Besides i believe it will cut off a good deal expensive litigation Think about this matter [Wm?] and write me soon what you think best in the matter. The weather has been pretty cold - but nothing like our Iowa winters - the snow is about 4 inches. The fuel is the most expensive thing here. I have had some little practice here already - but there is not much sick now - but when the weather breaks up I think there will be then. I expect to have a good show with the others some are of the [illegible] Johnny Moore And Doe Parks Style. Did you get my letter written to you about 2 weeks ago - How is Nathan & his family? Give my love to Mother & Ellen From Your Brother Milton jan 9th 1879. I got a letter today from sister Ellen & Nathan today. I was glad to hear again from home - but was so sorry to hear that mother's health is not quite so good and sincerely hope it will soon get better and by spring [illegible] good health again. I do not think it best for me to come back, because here is the place to lay the foundation for practice, I have studied hard and do you - and I think that I need not fear
