think for this time [illegible] year money is very scarce we have not been paid for a month now that is us girls I work at the same place I did seven years ago you asked about Jim Fash he married my step mothers oldest daughter did I tell you that he is dead she is left with a little baby Wes is married he married a black eyed little girl named [Lucy?] Jacobs and if you aint married pretty soon I think you had better be from the tone of your letter but I may not be a good judge Emard is working at [illegible] planning mill and so is [illegible] sorry you have no [illegible] this winter I think [illegible] you would let me see a picture of that young lady who fell in love with your handwriting of course she had
