Was at the grave yard today and yesterd. last Sabbath if I very tare will save seeds to plant flowers next spring, if I live. O Jesus take me in thy heavenly care help, protect-guide me through life, that I might live closer to the cross O dear Jesus guard all my thoughts my (illegible) that thy (illegible) no guile myself I (nothing?), (God?) O I feel some (illegible) in thy holy through holy blood I feel I can do all things through Christ - who strengthens me help us all to meet in heaven, heaven sweet heaven where Jesus is

This morning Will and I whent down to meeting heard Mr Miller done a very good sermon after the preaching was over Mr. Griffin spoke a few words about the "Bible Society -" that he was thi County Agent. &e had a collection in the Methodist church by (illegible) (Jo?) Millis raised 11 dollars half of which was payed down thin came thi Local agent to the (chosen?) Will said Mis Mathis & thi old G. area and said he would rather be (illegible)when Will said Mis Mthis it was seened (illegible) fast &e Mr. Griffin said the local agent's report was both true & correct.
