We started at 2 P.M. and did not get back until 7 P.M. Monday, Tuesday, Wed., Thur., & Friday nothing but school. Saturday Sept 18th Worked in the morning. Went to play croquet in the afternoon but had to come home at 5 because of the rain. Stayed to Linn's to supper. After supper Linn & I were all alone in the house, (excepting the girls). So we built a fire in the sitting room, curled up in two big chairs & read till 9 oclock. Sunday Sept 19th Papa, Linn, May and I went to church this morning. Dr Bingham preached a very good sermon, I thought. I wish he would preach the same sermon two Sundays in succession because I can not remember it all & would like to hear it and then
