school this P. M. but went with Mamma & ordered me a hat & got May a Christmas present. Tuesday Nov 30th May and I are making a footrest for Papa, or rather we are filling it in. I think the pattern is very pretty. Club at Linns this evening. May and Papa were going the a lecture and May had got all ready when Papa was taken sick and Nellie and I ran for the doctor. It did not last long but his was very sick. Wednesday Dec 1. Papa is better today. Thurs. Dec. 2 Written examination today in Grammar and history. Friday 3. Examined in arithmetic in the morn -
