Water to it & let it stand all Night; drain it from the Water & put it in a Mug with a little Rose Water, & set over the Fire in boiling Water till melted. let it stand till cold; that all the Rose Water may be drain'd from it, put to it 2 Spoonfuls of Oyl of Almonds, or less if you like it, solid; put the Mug in the Water & let it boil a little; then strain it thro' a Muslin into a Bason; beat it a great Deal & add what Essence you like - Hard Pomatum. About an equal Quantity of Mutton Suet
