the Oven is ready mix your Sugar & Almonds together with your Hand, & then put in the Curd of your Eggs; stir them lightly together then drop them upon double Wafers on a Sheet of Tin, & grate some Sugar over them. To make Queen Cakes. Take 1 lb of Butter, Sugar & Currants, 8 Eggs well beat; work your Butter to a Cream, washing all the Salt out first; then put in your Sugar & when it is mix'd put in your Eggs; then beat it very well with your Hand & put in your Flour & Currants
