A Pound & half of Flour, 6 oz: of Butter, 10 oz: of Loaf Sugar, 2 oz: of Carraway Seeds, 2 Eggs, a Tea Spoonfull of Yeast; rub the Butter in the Flour; mix all well together pretty *sad with a little Milk, a little Cinnamon just bruised. The Yorkshire Cake. Take the whites of 10 Eggs & put to them three Spoonfulls either of Orange Flower or Rose Water; beat it to a Froth with a Whisk; then *so in y/e other Book -
