and put in for liquor either white wine or water then put it into the oven again and let soak untill it be enough. To make a hair pye Take your hair and cut it into severall pieces clean from the bones and lay it into your pye with on layr above another and betwixt every layr lay butter and spice with pepper and salt and mace, and lay on layr above another untill that your pye be full and lay a good store of butter above the top of all and when you put on the lid leave a lum in the same and when it is near baken take it out of the oven and fill it full of claret wine or strong oil and set it into the oven and let it soak untill it be enough.
