Soft Soap Mrs Shooter 1 lb Life buoy soap 1 pkt Car Bosil 8 pints Soft water boil & stir well Marrow Cream 1 lb Marrow - (Steamed) 1 lb Sugar 2 oz Butter 2 lemons, rind & juice Mash merrow well with wood spoon, add Sugar & lemons & boil together 45 minutes, add butter about 10 minutes before taking mixture up. 2 lbs Merrow make a nice quantity Apricot Jam wash 1 1/4 lbs of dried Apricots, soak for 24 hours in 2 quarts of water, add 4 lbs Sugar & 10 bitter almonds, boil until it jellies. This makes 8 lbs of jam. 9/8/19
