Fort Madison Iowa April the 14 1891 Well George I will answer your letter to day We are well and as fat and lazy as ever it rains Most of the time lately well George I had a good notion not to answer your letter because you didn't write me any thing about Louise Egner you musnt forget to next time Who taught your school this Winter We are going to have a little garden We are going to have onions and Peas and radishes and string beans We have got the ground all spaded up You must come down about that time Charlie Weighs twenty one pounds more than he did when he was there
