[upside down] Write to Hattie but for me to [seat?] but of course you will have to answer this letter first. been cold with snow and the worst of it is I have got fifteen acres of corn to husk yet and as it is doun bad can't husk if there is snow on the ground but I am not the only one as there is Thousands of acres in the county yet to husk, but think it will warm up if not will husk it in the spring. I have been plowing up to Stanley on the farm I bought and that is why my corn is in the field. I expect you will come and live with us now as we have a house the buildings are poor things but I guess we can fix a corner for you, and maby we shall next year.
