Farmington Iowa March 12th 1870 Remembered Friend Having a few moments to spare I will now try and do as I agreed and that is to write to you we are here in Farmington all safe and sound and Oh what a nice farm we have got Such lots of Apples and Peaches Pears Plums Grapes Raspberries Currants Strawberries and Gooseberries Oh just lots of them we have a large frame house and a beautiful yard with evergreens in it the house has 3 bedrooms below and a kitchen dineing Room and parlor we found Every thing ready for us when we got here Mira was some
