The History of the Cary Club from 1939 to 1968 This being time for the Club to catch up on its history from 1939, of which Mrs. Clara Wilson and Mrs. Ina Fernow wrote. The Club celebrated its seventy-fifth Anniversary at the home of Gladys Drips in 1953 and this year 1968 is our ninetieth Anniversary. The Cary Club have continued to be an active organization now for ninety years, and is one of the oldest if not the oldest Club in Marion. Since 1939 our Club have had their regular meetings the first and third Mondays of each month except for a couple of years we did not meet the first three months of the year but held meetings in June, July and August. We have carried on in the same manner as when the Club was organized, except our programs
