Constitution of Cary Club. Art I Name This club shall be know as the Cary Club of Marion, Iowa. Art II Object The object of this club shall be the improvement of its members. Art III Officers The officers of this society shall be President, Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer and shall be elected by ballot at the annual meeting which is the first regular meeting in May. They shall enter upon their duties at the first regular meeting in September and shall continue in office one year only. Art IV Membership The membership of this club or organization shall be limited to twenty. When a vacancy occurs, any member may propose a name for membership. If more than one name should come before the club, an informal ballot shall be taken and the one receiving the highest number of votes cast, shall be considered a candidate for election when a formal ballot shall be taken. Three negative votes being sufficient to exclude a candidate. When a member is elected, she shall sign the Constitution and pay an annual fee of one dollar ($1.00). Proposition of membership must be two weeks before action is taken there-on.
