Constitution Article I- Name. This society shall be known as the Cary Club of Marion Iowa. Article II,- Object. The object of this society shall be the intillectual improvement of its members Article III- Officers. The officers of this society shall be President, Vice-President, Secretary and Treasurer, and shall be elected by ballot at the annual meeting which is the first regular meeting in May. They shall enter upon the duties of their respective offices at the first regular meeting in September, and shall continue in office one year only. Article IV- Membership. The Membership of this society shall be limited to twenty. When a vacancy occurs, any member may propose a name for membership. If more than one name should come before the society, an informal ballot shall be taken, and the one receiving the highest number of votes cast shall be considered a candidate for election, where a formal ballot shall be taken. Three negative votes being sufficient to exclude a candidate. When a member is elected she shall sign the constitution and pay an annual fee of one dollar and proposition for membership must be two weeks before
