Monday afternoon Nov 5 The Cary Club met at the home of Mrs Knowlton. There were 16 members and one visitor present. Roll call was responded to with quotations from Bayard Taylor by 10. Minutes of last meeting read and approved. Mrs. Manson appointed critic. German history led by Mrs. Kindman, Mrs Shumuck a guests sang a solo in a very pleasing manner, Mrs Wilson gave two short recitations Business, Mrs. Storky reported in regard to German history purchased Motion made and carried that we secure one more copy. Motion made and carried that a note of thanks be extended to Mrs Alexander for the use of her home for club party, also to General committee for extra work. Sec'y read a letter from Mrs Stone White. current events by club English lesson lead by Mrs. Rathbon. Adjourned to meet in two weeks with Mrs. Hindman. Mrs Voris Pres Mrs. Humphrey Secy
