31 April 22 1901. Cary Club met with Mrs. A. J. McKean 15 Mrs. members and one visitor present. Wilson Roll call was responded to with placed quotation about birds. Minutes of on last meeting read and approved. the Mrs. Rathbun then gave a back retired paper, The Neibelungen Lied. list Current events by the club. with By request of president, The Secretary regret. read the Dedication and preface to prepared by Mrs Hindman to the Club store written two years ago. Business, voting on new names to fill vacancy resulted in a meeting being called in one week for the purpose of proposing others. Said meeting to be held at home of Secretary. Committee on Federation work instructed to report disapproval of Rummage Sale at present, but that we would help in some other way. English lesson omitted. Adjourned to meet in regular Session May 6 at the home of Mrs. Knowlton, after which our hostess served dainty refreshments. Mrs. Voris President Mrs Humphrey Sec'y. April 29.
