Marion Lorra May 4th 1903 The Cary Club held the annual meeting at the home of Mrs Maddrake Nine members present Quotations from [illegible] Cruthers were given at Roll call. Mrs. Cook read a paper on Siberia followed by Current Events the following officers were then elected for the following year. Pres Mrs J E Davis Vice Pres Mrs. M. Vons Sec. Mrs. E.W. Griffiths Tres. Mrs. I.R. Alexander The chairman of program committee then read the program for the coming year which was accepted by the Club. Mrs Manson requested to be placed upon the retired list was accepted. Adjourned is meet with Mrs. Rathburn. May 18th Mrs. Davis Vice Pres. Mrs. Hutchinson Sec. Pro tem. Marion [illegible] May 18th 1903 The Cary Club met at the home of Mrs. Rathburn. Ten members were present. Roll call was ans by quotations on flowers and birds Mrs. Dobson read a letter from Mayor Marshall requesting the [illegible] of Clubs to elect five ladies to act as part of library board. Miss Daniels [apt?] meeting to be held. Thursday eve. May at 7:30 PM. Con Church A motion to note an new member was carried resulting in the election of Mrs. Hadwin. The following names was then proposed for membership Mrs. Phelps Mrs Synder Miss A McKean Miss Ovington Mrs. Madock and
