Marion Iowa December 28th 1903 The Club met with Mrs Hadmin [?], Seven members responded to mall [?] once [?] Minutes of last meeting read and corrected The President being absent Mme Meutzen presided Mme Hadmin [?] gave the "Life, Letters and work of Chopin." and she also gave a history of Hymns, and Hymns writers current events Mrs Then [?], taken up, Mrs Hadwin delightfully entertained the Club with Xmas Candy, and songs. Mrs Mitrhie [?] also gave selections from Chopin, adjourned to meet with Mrs. Griffiths Mrs Meutzir EBGriffiths President Protem. Secretary Marion Iowa January 10th 1904 The Cary Club met with Mrs Griffiths, The President presiding roll call responded to with quotations by eight members. Minutes of last meeting read and approved. current events were then taken up. Mrs Mintzms [?] paper on "Alaska" past and present" was fine. After a short discussion upon the subject of Guests day. a Motion was made by Mrs Voris that guests day be postponed until Feby 8th Motion carried and the Secretary duly instructed to write to Mrs Neff to ascertain if she could be with us on that date. The Club the adjourned to meet in two weeks with Mrs Voris Ms JC Davis E. B Griffiths President Secretary
