74 Marion Ia May 16th 1904 The Cary Club met with Mrs Rathbun. Eighteen members answered roll call with quotations. Minutes of last meeting read and approved. This being the annual meeting the following Officers were elected. Mrs Hutchinson President Mrs Brown Vice President Mrs E W McKean Secretary Mrs M Doris Treasurer The President then selected Mrs E. J. Mentzer Mrs J J Ives and Mrs [illegible] as program committee for 1904 - 1905. Club adjourned to meet with Mrs A. J. McKean in two weeks. A club tea was then served which was pronounced excellent. Mrs Davis Mrs Griffiths President Secretary Marion Ia June 1st 1904 The club met with Mrs A. J. McKean, fourteen members responded to roll call with quotations Minutes of last meeting read and approved. Mrs Davis then read a paper on the life of Ruskin, Mrs McKean gave us some of Ruskins "[illegible] pictures" Mrs Davis notified the club that Mrs Stookey had kindly invited the club to meet with her in two weeks, the invitation was gladly accepted. A note of thanks was read by the Secretary from Mrs W Jackson for the flowers, [illegible] them in remembrances of their mother Mrs R Jackson. There being nothing further the club adjourned to meet with Mrs Stookey. Mrs McKean then served dainty refreshments and a social time was enjoyed by all. Mrs Davis Mrs Griffiths President Secretary
