Marion Iowa Dec. 3rd 1906
The Cary Club met at the home of Mrs Cook meeting called to order at usual hour. Pres. presiding. Roll call responded to in usual way twelve members present Sisters Hadwin, Cook, Gibson, Brown, Ives, Dobson, Alexander, Panmenter, Sargent, Gniffselk, Pyle, and Hutchinson. Minutes read and accepted, names were then balleted [sic] upon for the selection of a new member. To take the place of our dear sister Stookey, resulting in the election of Mrs. A. B. Alderman.
The guest day was then discussed and the following committee was appointed to make [?] and arrangements for same, Mrs. Hutchinson, Mrs. Brown & Mrs. Sargent. The following interesting [?] gram was then given Outline history of Franc [sic] Mrs. Dobson, Normandy & Brittany Mrs. ALexander, Paris Mrs. Ives impressed upon our minds by pictures of places of interest. Adjourned to meet Dec 17th with Mrs Parmenter.
