Marion Iowa Monday Feb 11th 07 Cary Sisters met at Mrs. Hadwins the following beinf present, Hadwen, Brown, Davis, Gibson, Troy, Pyle, Bailey, Cook, Alderman, Rathbun and Hutchinson //. President called meeting to order at usual time. Roll Call resp. by current events Minutes read and approved. There being no business to [?] the program was [?alled] as follows, Mrs. Alexander not being there on account of continued illness Mrs. Hadwen gave a talk on Outline history of Rome. The City of Rome and Churches of Rome were the subjects of papers read by Mr. Hutchinson and Mrs. Troy, and Mrs. Rathbun read an artical on Miland [sic[ and Italian Lakes. Adjournment at 5.30 to meet with Mrs McKean in two weeks. Tho we had a three hours session no one seemed restless or tired. Mrs Hadwen Mrs Hutchinson Pres. Sec.
