Marion Iowa Monday Feb 25th 07 Cary Club met with Mrs E.W. McKean 13 members and two guests present. Pres. presiding, meeting called to order and current events given in response to Roll call, Sisters Brown. Bailey. Davis, Griffeths, Hadwen, Ives, McKean, Pyle, Phelps, Troy, Parmenter, Sargent and Hutchinson, the guests being Mrs Griffeths sister Mrs. Bunnington and Mrs. Clogston. Minutes of previous meeting read and approved. Sec. gave message from Sister Maddock thanking Club for flowers sent to her in her illness, Reports from Delegation to Federation given, requesting that the Cary Club take action on whether the Marion City Fed. join the district Feredation. after some discussion it was moved and carried that it be laid on the table untill next meeting. Mrs. Alderman being ill Mrs. Hadwen gave a talk on Roman Art and Architecture and having exchanged work with Mrs. Gibson Mrs. Hadwen also had a paper on environs of Rome. Naples and invirons [sic] was the subject of a paper by Mrs. E.N. Griffeths Adjourned to meet with Mrs. Bailey in two weeks. Mrs. Hadwen Mrs. Hutchinson Pres. Sec. Marion Iowa March 11th 07 Cary Club met at the home of Mrs. Bailey. Called to order by Pres. roll call responded to by current events, eleven members present Sisters Brown, Bailey, Cook, Gibson, [Griffeths], Hadwen, Pyle, Parmenter, Voris, Troy, Sargent and Hutchinoson.
