Marion Iowa Nov 30th 1908 The Cary Club met at the home of Mrs. Cross. Club was called to order by Pres. Members present responded to roll call by quotations from Cary Sisters. There were fourteen members present. The following program was then given. Mrs. Griffiths gave an interesting article on "Burbank and his work". Mrs. Parmenter a book service on "Deck Haven". Current events was then given no further business adjourned to meet with Mrs. Pyle Dec 14th Susie Brown Sec'y. Marion Iowa Dec 14th 1908 The Cary Club met at the home of Mrs. Pyle. Pres. called Club to order. Roll call was responded toby quotations from "Uncle Remmis". A motion was made a sec'nd to reinstate Mrs. Mentzer to take the place of Mrs. Dobson carried. It was moved and sec'nd that Mrs. Hutchinson act as Treasure for year Mrs. Phelps not being able to act. Pres. appointed Mrs. Winter & Mrs. Hutchinson delegates to C Fed of Clubs Fourteen members were present. Sec'y read constitution and by laws. Mrs. Hadwin sent in her resignation. Sec was instructed to invite Mrs. Van Ness to become an active member of the Club. Current events was then given. Club adjourned to meet at the home of Mrs. E.W. McKean.
