145 Marion. Ia. March 8th 1909 The Cary Club met at the home of Mrs Sargeant. Club was called to order by Vice Pres. Mrs Sargeant. Minutes of previous meeting was read and approved. Roll call was ans by quotations from Ella W Wilcox. There were thirteen members and one visitor. Mrs Green present The following program was then given "Government Irrigation in the West", by Mrs Ives. Mrs Gibson gave a fine description of a "trip to Denver. Current events was then given Mrs Brown giving a guessing contest on nick names of the States Pres Mrs E W Griffiths being in the Hospital. Vice Pres instructed flower Com to send flowers S Brown Sec'y
