Marion Ia May 3rd 1909 Cary Club met at the home of Mrs. Alderman. Club was called to order by Vice Pres. Mrs. Sargeant. Miscelaneous quotations were given in answer to roll call. Mrs. Mentzer read a magazine article "Social Settlements". Election of officers be the next in order the Club elected Mrs. Pyle Pres. Mrs. Winter Vice Pres. Mrs. Cross Sec'y for the ensuring year current events was then given. Club adjourned to meet with Mrs. Alexander May 17th S Brown Sec'y Marion Ia. May 17th 1909 Cary Club met at the home of Mrs. T R Alexander. Pres. called Club to order. Quotations were given from J M Rieley. Minutes of previous meeting read and approved. Mrs. Cross then read the program for 1909-10 moved and secon'd program be accepted and read. carried. Mrs. Alexander read a description of the city of "Gary Ind" It was decided we hold our Club tea at Mrs. Baileys. Mrs. Hutchinson, Mrs. Winter, Mrs. Cross Brown were appointed committee on refreshments. Adjourned S Brown Sec
